ON MY WAY HOME AT THE LRT

It's madness at the LRT platform just now on my way home.  There was a slight train delay and the platform was packed with commuters.

We decided to go shopping instead, not going to stand and squeeze around with the rest.  We came back half and hour later, to find the crowd more manageable.

While waiting for the train to come, I took this shot.  Too bad not enough zoom!

It's been some time since I shoot with the Multiple Exposure mode in the LX3. Here is another attempt at Lau Pa Sat.  This is my favorite Indian stall where I usually have my Mee Goreng.  Their prata is good too.

LITTLE PHOTOGRAPHER AT WORK

Here's my 3 yrs old nephew with the SONY. His first attempt at photography and he loves it. He knows how to press the shutter, review photo, zoom in and out. Also taught him on the macro mode but that requires more practise.

He is pretty careful too, throughout the trip, he did not drop the camera, he also know how to shut off the power when he is not taking pics. 

Here are some of his work. I just resized them that's all. Of course, he shoots in Program mode. LOL

WALK AROUND ITE

A walk around ITE College West this morning with my mum, nephew etc. Tried out the food at their cafetaria, it is pretty ok. Here's a shot from this morning. Did not have much shots since I am monitoring my little nephew on his photography.

DOMOKUN

DOMO rules! Heard from my friend that there is a DOMOKUN fair at Isetan. So we headed down to Orchard after work. Woo! There is a life sized Domokun and the promoter is friendly and allow photography. I took a shot with the Domo too, but decided to post this shot (without me instead).

There are quite a lot of Domokun merchandise from pen to cushion covers etc.

I bought a pen $5.90, here it is. I love it. The kitty diary 2011 is for my mum. She likes it too.

So all Domo fans, pls head down to Isetan soon.

Hiak! Don't mess with me, I have just acquired the most sought after martial arts manual - 易筋经。

Just kidding, this is just a simple notebook from More Than Words. Got it for $2.90. There are other martial arts skills too, but this one's my favorite.

Now I tried editing for the tilt shift effect in PS. My procedure: Select the area with the rectangle tool, feather set at 80. Blur the background. This is tips from my good friend too. Heehee..

TILT SHIFT - MRT

Tried out something new today, thanks to my good friends Evon and Jason for their tips on Tilt shift effect.  

Shot is taken with my cellphone, the effect is created from this site : www.tiltshiftmaker.com. Try it, it's fun and it's free. I think I didn't use a suitable shot, coz it does not have that miniature effect.

Now I got to find other suitable shots and try the edit in PS.

7.09am

Day break at 7.09am this morning. I woke at 6am and could not sleep after that, was hungry. Tossing and turning in bed till 7am. I woke up again to drink some glucose and realised it is so hazy outside, the sky is purplish too. Decided to take a snapshot of it to share with you all.
